Description

College students with backgrounds in science, engineering and education are needed to assist camp instructors in week long camps for middle and high school students. Responsibilities include camp set up/clean up, assisting instructors and students with projects, supervising student at breaks and lunch times, and promoting a fun environment daily. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be able to lift and carry equipment and materials, and enjoy working with children. Applicants should also be able to perform general office tasks such as answering phones, photocopying, and other miscellaneous tasks. Part-Time temporary summer camp assistants are needed mid-June through the first week of August. Candidates must participate in the Mandated Reporter Training (1 hour) and provide clearances from the PA State Police, Dept. of Human Service Child Abuse, and FBI finger print.
