We seek two Postdoctoral Scholars to join our research team in the Applied Population Ecology Lab to assist in our work with federal partners on research related to the conversation and management of amphibian and bat species. The researcher will be housed in The Pennsylvania State University Department of Ecosystem Science and Management and will work extensively with cooperators from the USGS in western Massachusetts. The work will include data analysis, population modeling, and design of field studies as part of cooperative agreements with federal partners. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences, Ecology, Statistics, or related discipline and be able to provide evidence that all requirements have been met for completion of the Ph.D. prior to the effective date of hire. Preferred qualifications include strengths in quantitative ecology, amphibian or bat ecology, disease dynamics, and population ecology. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Initial appointment will be for one year, with the opportunity for renewal contingent on the availability of funding.
