Description

The Materials Research Institute is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to work in the group of Susan Trolier-McKinstry. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, and extensive experience in the deposition and characterization of lead zirconate titanate thin films with large piezoelectric responses. The candidate must have experience in sputter deposition, chemical solution deposition, dry and wet etching, and photolithography, as well as electrical characterization of leakage currents, polarization-electric field hysteresis loops, piezoelectric coefficients of films, and permittivity and loss tangent measurements. Experience in running multi-step process flows and/or design of acoustic transducers will also be helpful.
