The Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a detailed-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team as the Administrative Support Assistant and Receptionist in the main office. This position will support both the Undergraduate Program in Nutritional Sciences as well as the Didactic Program in Dietetics. Primary responsibilities are to greet department visitors and students; answer and direct telephone calls; assist with student registrations and build and modify undergraduate classes (LionPATH); schedule exams and conflict exams; submit textbook orders; collect syllabi; assist faculty with room reservations (CollegeNet/25Live); and build reports (iTwo). Responsibilities also include making supply purchases (eBuy) for the department; photocopying; maintaining listservs; entering work orders into the SuiteReq system; receiving sorting and distributing packages and mail, in addition to assisting with managing websites and social media. This position will serve as backup to other administrative support staff. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Office 365 and Outlook is preferred. This position requires the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a sometimes busy environment.
