Description

The Office of Ethics and Compliance is seeking an Administrative professional to join our administrative staff. This position will serve as a receptionist, providing professional and courteous front office service to internal and external contacts and general office support in a professional office setting. Duties include scheduling of meetings utilizing outlook, coordinating and maintenance of calendar appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange travel, process reimbursements in ERS, create and process forms in IBIS, schedule conference rooms and utilize the equipment for use during meetings, organize special events, gather information to prepare reports, create spreadsheets using Excel, maintenance of files and databases, open, sort and distribute mail ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information, ordering and maintaining the inventory of office supplies using EBuy. Provide support for the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) including creating and processing forms in IBIS, scheduling meals for special events, creating brochures for sporting events. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. IBIS, ERS, EBUY experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel is required. Experience with website editing is preferred. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, work well both independently and in a team setting, and have exceptional organizational, prioritization and customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required. This job requires strong attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality, sound judgement and decision-making abilities. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
