Description

The Agricultural Analytical Services Laboratory (AASL) provides analytical testing and research-based recommendations to support sustainable resource management decisions. The lab offers comprehensive analyses of soil, water, plant tissue, manure, compost, and other agricultural materials. This position primarily assists with compiling records, data entry in the Laboratory Information Management System, collating documents and reports, assembling sample kits, and customer service. Additional tasks include receiving, sorting, and batching samples in preparation for analysis. All tasks will be performed following procedures specified in the standard operating procedures manual. Candidate should be a proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous office experience preferred but not required. Preference will be given to current undergraduate students seeking an opportunity to gain professional experience.
