The Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education in the College of Education is seeking an innovative, knowledgeable, and collaborative Administrative Support Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of one or more graduate/undergraduate programs within the department and assisting students and faculty with a wide variety of activities. This position will also assist the Office Coordinator by taking a prominent role in course scheduling, recruitment, social media, and designing creative web content. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with CRM systems, Oracle, HRIS, iMovie, Drupal, or other similar software is preferred. The ability to work fluidly with a team, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are essential. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism with a high commitment to customer service, interpersonal/communication skills, organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy, ability to manage and prioritize tasks with minimal direction, and exercise discretion and judgement while managing confidential information. Applicants should have experience working in an office environment and have experience with marketing, recruitment, or creative website design.
