Description

One postdoctoral position is available at Penn State College of Medicine, Neural & Behavioral Sciences to conduct studies on the central nervous system control of gastrointestinal functions in Parkinson’s Disease. This position requires knowledge of patch clamp techniques in both brain slices and primary neuronal culture. The candidate must have a doctoral degree in Biology, Neuroscience, Physiology, Anatomy or Pharmacology earned within the last year. Highly motivated individuals who have a passion for the sciences and capable of learning new techniques quickly and develop new approaches independently are encouraged to apply.
