Description

The Penn State College of Medicine is recruiting for and Education Program Assistant to work in the University Park office to oversee the portfolio of medical school education evaluation and assessment activities at the University Park Curriculum track for Medical Education. The position will provide evaluation and assessment software, database and technical assistance for the University Park Curriculum track of the Medical Education Program while ensuring communication across the evaluation and assessment team sites. The position will be responsible for various data related educational evaluation and assessment duties and provide administrative support to the Office of Medical Education at the University Park Curriculum track as assigned. The duties will include providing routine program logistics/maintain requirements or activities to ensure quality of programs. Monitor program development timelines and communicate status to supervisor. Assist in the development, editing, and production of materials, letters, forms, etc. Update course materials, schedules, requirements and provide information to students/participants; resolve problems. Assist in preparing reports and program documentation. Prepare program confirmation and correspondence. Enter data into systems. Efficiently use all forms of electronic communications (basic software applications). Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Would prefer Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or other related subject. Two years work experience in a position that required independent decision making. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel/Word/Access/Outlook) with ability to learn and adapt to new software and computer interfaces easily. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills. This is a fixed-term appointment funded one year from date of hire with the possibility of refunding.
