Description

The Penn State Information Technology Learning and Development (ITLD) is seeking students for Technology Tutor roles. These positions are part-time, 6 days and 8-15 hours per week, with hours ranging from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Typical duties include assisting Penn State students, faculty, and staff in learning how to use technology applications and software to accomplish day-to-day teaching and learning requirements. Technology Tutors are required to deliver technology related trainings in face-to-face and online environments and to individual and groups of learners. A working knowledge of Penn State software (i.e. Office 365, Adobe Suite, sites at Penn State, and Canvas) is desired, along with effective teaching and communication skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to self-learn software using online resources in a short span of time.
