This position will provide support to all Administrative areas; primarily focusing on Finance and Business. This position is responsible for approving and processing all personnel adjustment and budget amendments for Finance and Business, and will work with the Payroll, Human Resources and Budget Offices to resolve issues. Responsible for managing all Pay and Effort functions and clearing accounts and will assist with purchasing approvals as needed. The successful candidate is responsible for running complex reports for forecasting purposes and will assist with the annual general salary increase process and is responsible for reporting on gifts and endowments. The successful candidate is considered a subject matter expert in executing business processes. The position serves as a resource for all financial officers and support staff to and provides guidance on navigating enterprise systems to complete tasks (Workday, IBIS/SIMBA, and Pay and Effort), coordinates training and initiate system access for newly hired Financial Officers.The individual will update and maintain the Desk Reference manual, a resource geared towards on-boarding new Financial Officers. The successful candidate will serve as the Access and Security Representative for Finance and Business area within the Corporate Controller’s Office and will maintain approval paths and ensure proper controls for Finance and Business Areas. This job will be filled as a level 4, or level 5, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 4. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
