Penn State Human Resources is seeking a Compensation Strategist to serve as the subject matter expert on all Compensation strategies, structure, and programs. The position will serve as a senior level contributor to design, implement, advance, and monitor the architecture and philosophy of Penn State’s compensation program. The core of this position will be on staff-level compensation but may develop and implement strategy for Executive Compensation programs as well. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Compensation and Benefits and engage in high level activities to include, but not limited to, creating compensation reports, and presentation development for senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Thus, the ideal candidate must have a high attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and be an effective communicator vertically and horizontally. This job will be filled as a level 4, or level 5, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 4. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
