Description
Reports to the Associate Director for Research. Responsible for data management, reporting, and data analysis in support of planning and evaluating Undergraduate Admissions operational and strategic activities. This includes the acquisition and management of data from internal and external sources, production and interpretation of reports, predictive modeling, and data visualization. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants should have a research, data analytics, or business intelligence background and be able to synthesize data and information from a variety of sources and data platforms, analyze trends to uncover insights, and draw sound conclusions. Experience with SAS Enterprise Miner or similar modeling tools and undergraduate admissions processes is preferred. This role requires experience and proficiency in data analytics using a variety of software tools such as MS Access, SAS, SPSS, Excel or other tools with similar functionality. The successful candidate must have experience with relational databases, data cleansing and transformation, data validation, and handling large datasets. A background in statistics, data modeling, predictive analytics and data visualization is required.
