Description

A Research Technologist 1 position is available at The Pennsylvania State University beginning January 2020 in the laboratory of Dr. John Boney, Assistant Professor of Poultry Science. Numerous industry-funded broiler chicken and turkey research experiments require the need of a full-time Technologist. Responsibilities include laboratory management, coordination of efforts for project execution, and management of both turkey and broiler research experiments. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with the capacity to interact with faculty, students, and staff. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
