The Financial Aid Office for World Campus is seeking a Financial Aid professional to join our office. If you are passionate about non-traditional student learning and feel you can be a part of a team to meet and exceed learner expectations while communicating timely and accurate information to our diverse population of students, potential students, and others about various financial aid programs, regulations, and procedures, then we want you to apply! The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the administration of financial aid programs and will manage the World Campus Loan Fund. Typical responsibilities include: developing and maintaining strong working knowledge of all federal, state, and institutional sources of financial aid and regulations; assisting students and/or parents, other University offices, and sponsoring agencies with various financial matters; preparing, reviewing, and responding to a broad range of financial aid correspondence; reviewing and resolving application/eligibility problems; preparing, maintaining and analyzing various reports; assisting with development of policies and procedures; providing information related to scholarships; and overseeing the development and implementation of information for public distribution. This job will be filled as an Enrollment Services Specialist, level 3. This is a very busy office and the volume of work is high. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with all forms of written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, student information systems, and Customer Relationship software is preferred. Communication with team members is an essential part of being successful in this role, as is demonstrating an appreciation for working with diverse audiences. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
