Description

The School of Engineering Design, Technology, and Professional Programs (SEDTAPP) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our various undergraduate and graduate programs. This position will be responsible for the coordination, planning and implementation of School events; School and program advisory board meetings; student group travel (undergraduate and graduate, domestic and international travel); student design projects; workshops and short courses; meetings; and activities and special projects (e.g., graduation events, seminar speakers, entrepreneurs in residence, program networking events, program promotion activities). This includes coordinating with people internal and external to the School and the University to plan and execute the desired event based on program needs; may require some evening or weekend participation. Responsibilities also include financial processing of event expenses and other administrative tasks as needed. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with Penn State systems and an understanding of policies and procedures is preferred.
