Penn State Abington is seeking a part time theater production instructor for the spring, 2020 semester to teach one course in theater production, with a possibility of a second course depending on program needs and the candidate’s area of expertise. Candidates should be available to teach in the evening in conjunction with rehearsals for Penn State Abington’s spring musical. College-level teaching and professional experience is expected, with preference for technical background in sound reinforcement and lighting design. MFA is theater production or related field is preferred. Located roughly 15 miles north of Philadelphia, Abington College serves a racially and ethnically diverse student body of nearly 4,000 undergraduates, including a significant proportion of first-generation, nontraditional, and international students.
