Description

Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Services to join our Student Services Department. Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and delivery of dynamic student activities and programs, oversight of recognized student clubs and organizations, and advising the Student Bar Association (SBA). This role focuses heavily in enhancing the student experience at Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law. Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Student Services, the Assistant Director will manage student organization budgets, deliver beneficial programming to enhance the student experience, develop and oversee a strategic plan for marketing and advertising school events and activities, execute all event logistics, and provide back-up support to the Associate Dean, as needed. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in student centered higher education preferred. The successful candidate must have a strong desire for developing and maintaining a welcoming, diversely rich campus environment. Strong communication demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.
