Description

The Pennsylvania State University’s Translational Brain Research Center invites applications for a Project Manager position to help carry out NIH-funded studies that use MRI, smartphones, and wearable sensors to measure healthy behaviors, cognitive, and brain health in adults across the lifespan. The primary role of the Project Manager will be to collaborate with the Principal Investigator to oversee and implement research projects administered within Cognitive and Mobile Phenotyping Neurolaboratory (https://sites.psu.edu/hakunlab/). Responsibilities will include coordinating activities across multiple research projects, monitoring study progress, data management, providing oversight for compliance with federal and state regulations and university policy, and align work product with grant deliverables. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in the social, behavioral, or health sciences preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and experience in relevant research domains including cognition or neuroscience, experience with statistical computing (SPSS, R, SAS), mobile data capture (EMA/ESM, mHealth, etc), and/or health behaviors (e.g. physical activity, nutrition). This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This position is scheduled to begin as early as December 1, 2019, although flexibility on this date is possible. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded as a yearly contract from date of hire with excellent possibility of renewal.
