Description

The Department of Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking an energetic, highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The responsibilities of the position include: Undergraduate Support: Provide administrative support to the undergraduate (UG) and integrated undergraduate and graduate (IUG) education components of the Department of Architectural Engineering. Assist students with course registration, e-petitions, degree audits, adjusting their audits to show they meet all degree requirements and graduation, process drop/adds. Assist the undergraduate coordinator in all aspects of the program to include corresponding with students, data management, course scheduling, course proposals, creating courses, reserving rooms, assigning instructors, advising confidential file maintenance and registration. Compile academic reports using multiple systems (iTwo, Lionpath, eSteward, etc). Run statistical reports for the Undergraduate Coordinator and Department Head. Knowledge of University policies and procedures related to students. Department Activities: coordinate events: family visits, Spend a Summer Day, New Student Orientation, welcome picnics, graduation reception and various socials and school visits. Attend meetings and take minutes. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with GRADS, LionPATH, Workday, and Microsoft Office 365 preferred. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism with a high commitment to customer service; interpersonal/communication skills, organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage and prioritize tasks with minimal direction; and exercise discretion and judgement while managing confidential information.
