Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining all Micros system items currently available in on-campus convenience stores and other food service operations at University Park and the Commonwealth Campuses. This will include updating databases such as new items, sale items, price changes, and item descriptions. A large part of the position will be conducting meetings and training related to our Micros Simphony II point of sale system. Additionally, the successful candidates will review and analyze Micros sales reports and communicate information to the dining units. Other responsibilities include serving as a backup to the online food management system coordinator—assisting with categorizing and naming items in the system, ensuring there are accurate numbers in inventory, and providing system training. Other duties include performing routine support and troubleshooting Micros software and creating and refining Micros documentation as needed. The successful candidate will collaborate with other Housing and Food Service groups like purchasing and the warehouse. Additionally, this person will provide support with planning and organizing monthly retail meetings and events as needed. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Micros Simphony II and FoodPro software preferred. Additionally, some travel may be required. Please include resume and cover letter for review.
