Description

The Marcus Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering in the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park is seeking applicants for a Lecturer position. The selected candidate will be expected to teach one 3-credit course during the Spring 2020 academic semester. In addition to teaching the selected candidate is expected to conduct research on AI (Artificial Intelligence) and analytical methods/tools for realizing smart and interconnected health systems. Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in industrial engineering, computer science, or statistics and have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Matlab/Python/R programming languages, and statistics.
