The Research Project Manager (RPM) will oversee and coordinate project activities for two grants focused on implementation and dissemination of evidence-based prevention (1) Innovations in Social and Emotional Learning Brief Series funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Support Center funded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The position requires extensive knowledge of prevention science research and practice including social emotional learning, substance abuse prevention, and university-wide systems such as extension and outreach. The RPM will develop and implement project management plans and activities that have impact across translational research efforts; lead technical writing and editing, develop content for Center communications staff, ensure quality control of project activities and projects; synthesize and present information to a project partners, including community organizations, outside consultants, and funders; interface with multiple levels of the organization and external entities to translate prevention science content; identify additional translational opportunities including funding opportunities and the preparation and submission of related grants; establish and maintain collaborative relationship with administrators, faculty, and staff to facilitate implementation and dissemination efforts; oversee event planning and budget management of both grants. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
