This position is responsible for the administration and management of a large scholarship program, overseeing stewardship, and interpreting and monitoring endowment guidelines to ensure compliance. The administrative support coordinator must be able to develop and implement awarding strategies in compliance with University policies and contribute to meeting the College’s strategic planning goals for recruitment and retention. This endeavor requires sound decision-making skills to evaluate student eligibility for awards in accordance with endowment criteria and to select scholarship recipients as a designee of the dean and associate dean; producing end-of-semester and end-of-the-year reports to college administrators and central administration; serving as College liaison for eSteward to central administration; and being a primary resource for the departments for problem resolution. The preferred candidate should display proficiency with eSteward, LionPATH, Microsoft Office 365 applications, Outlook, WorkLion/WorkDay, database software, and have experience using 25 Live CollegeNET, iTwo, Sharepoint and Box. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail are required. This person should understand and practice the value of equity and inclusion in all interactions with all constituents; and look for ways to foster this spirit in coworkers and supervised staff.
