This position will collaborate across the University to provide specialized guidance for cloud-native solutions; architect scalable, fault-tolerant solutions that leverage Azure, AWS or GCP cloud platforms; utilize appropriate cloud/hybrid architectures based on given business requirements; help re-architect on-premise applications to be cloud-optimized; recommend cost optimization; and advise and implement security and compliance best practices. The successful candidate will employ a customer-centric approach to work alongside faculty, staff, and teams (technical and service); have strong interpersonal communication skills; be willing and eager to learn new skills and technologies, handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously with a close attention to detail and minimal oversight; solve unique and complex problems; and must be a self-starter who is comfortable working directly with both customers and cross-functional internal teams in the use of cloud-native technologies.
