Description

Penn State Shenango is seeking a full-time, detailed-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to provide support for the Office of Business and Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to the Director of Business and Finance, including, but not limited to: general monitoring of budgets and expenditures, arranging and coordinating travel, processing reimbursements, maintaining office supplies and reconciling purchasing card transactions, processing and onboarding new hires. Additional duties include assisting with calendars, coordinating meetings and events, providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. The candidate will work closely with multiple departments on campus while creating and advancing a culture of inclusion. Successful candidates will be extremely organized with the ability to demonstrate prioritizing tasks and multi-tasking. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge or IBIS, ERS, eBuy and Workday are preferred. Must have proficient typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, in addition to the ability and willingness to learn new software/programs as needed. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and a member of a team.
