This is a paid social media marketing internship, where the selected candidate will develop graphics, social marketing strategy, and content for Stand for State’s various media channels. Duties include content design and development, marketing strategy, and distribution of Stand for State materials. This includes developing specific campaigns, event promotion, flyers and posters, with opportunities to develop materials that will be distributed both at University Park and the commonwealth campuses. As such we are looking for a student with a desire to make a difference and willingness to promote the importance of bystander intervention. The Intern will work with the coordinators of Stand for State to build and expand the quality of branding and marketing efforts of the program. Basic graphic design experience is required. The candidate must be proficient in Canva design platform. They must have a strong visual sense and a developed sensitivity to web-related design and possess excellent proofing skills. Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools required. This position also includes management of a monthly newsletter via the MailChimp platform. This is a 10 hour per week paid internship for Spring 2020 with the possibility of continuing for additional semesters.
