Description

The career services specialist at Penn State Great Valley is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of services, programs, and resources for Great Valley graduate students and alumni in reaching professional career goals. This position also provides resources including recruitment events for employers to connect with experienced students and promote available internship and full-time career opportunities within their organizations. This position will also present workshops to student groups at Orientation and throughout the year, advise students on available University resources and procedures, and represent the School on external or University-wide committees. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher in counseling or related discipline or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with good possibility of re-funding.
