Description

Penn State Behrend`s International Student Services office invites student applications for a Special Projects Assistant. The position will assist in initiatives towards the support of Chinese international students. This is a wage payroll, part-time position with schedule flexibility. Minimum Qualifications: Fluent in Mandarin; Current Behrend Student. Knowledge: WeChat; Weibo; Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Preferred Qualifications: Awareness, active membership or connected to student groups in China (CSA, former secondary school). Awareness, active membership or connected to related student organizations on the Behrend`s campus such as the Asian Student Organization (ASO) or the Chinese Cultural Advancement Club (CCAC), and others. Passionate about providing best possible support to current and incoming Chinese student. Ability and confidence to clearly communicate ideas and vision for projects. Ability to conceptualize, create, and execute projects collaboratively with professional staff and other students.
