Description

The Accounting and Finance Department of The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) is seeking a Labor Coordinator. Responsibilities include: Assist with labor tasking using Penn State's Workday HR and Timekeeping systems, Penn State's financial system (IBIS), and ARL's internal financial system (ARLINK); oversee timekeeping/payroll/labor distribution with all aspects of timekeeping administration, labor distribution, and reconciliation using ARLINK, IBIS and Workday; and perform monthly labor procedures to ensure PSU deadlines are met. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the following is preferred: Workday, ARLINK, iTwo, Discoverer and IBIS. Experience requirements include: Prior financial or accounting experience; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and possess exceptional and innovative problem-solving skills. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
