Description

Penn State Information Technology`s (PSIT) Software Engineering Group (SWE) is looking for a Computer Science (CS) or Information Science and Technology (IST) graduate student with experience in the software development lifecycle to assist in developing applications intended to be deployed in a hybrid public/private cloud environment. A successful candidate for this job will be skilled in modern principles of software engineering and will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the development process. Required skills include fluency in a at least one high level programming language (Java, .NET, C++, Golang) and a working knowledge of web-based technologies. Additional desirable skills include Docker, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration/Deployment, Maven, Git, PostgreSQL, Enterprise Architecture and Design Patterns. The selected candidate will work on a variety of projects, both independently and in teams.
