The Group Identity and Social Perception (GISP; http://gisp.la.psu.edu) Lab at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking applications for a Research Assistant beginning immediately to work 10 - 15 hours per week (scheduling flexible). The position is funded through the 2019-2020 academic year with a possibility for extension through the summer. The Research Assistant will coordinate with project staff to help carry out a data-intensive, longitudinal smartphone study. The Research Assistant will organize and monitor data, troubleshoot technical issues with the smartphone application used in the study, and provide ongoing support to staff and participants. The Research Assistant will work closely with the PI (Jonathan Cook) and other project personnel. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable using spreadsheets and office productivity software. The position is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in pursuing a graduate degree in social psychology or a related field.
