Description

The Department of Public Health Sciences (DPHS) is seeking an Educational Program Associate to assist and be responsible for the overall application and admission processes for all doctoral level graduate programs affiliated with DPHS. The successful candidate will assist doctoral students for a smooth transition from admission to graduation, and report to the Academic Programs Administrator. In addition to serving as an interface with current and prospective students, responsibilities include tracking student progress, supporting and maintaining an education program database, maintaining a presence with SOPHAS, providing admission status and statistics for program directors, assisting with recruiting events as needed, and providing backup support for the masters level programs. In addition, the associate will document SOPs for the new position. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with accreditation a plus. This is a fixed-term appointment funded one year from date of hire with the possibility of re-funding.
