An Assistant Research Professor position is available immediately, working with Dr. Gong Chen in the Department of Biology at The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Chen’s lab is developing a novel technology for brain and spinal cord repair. We are seeking an excellent candidate at the research associate level to conduct research on Huntington’s disease. The successful candidate must have worked on brain research for at least 5 years post Ph.D. degree and should demonstrate the capability of carrying out electrophysiology, neural imaging, and behavioral studies in in vivo cell conversion field. The candidate will both work independently and collaboratively with team members. A strong publication record is required. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for six months from date of hire with a possibility of re-funding. Requires a Ph.D. in neuroscience or a related field.
