The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, Department of Pediatrics is seeking Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) to join Dr. Sinisa Dovat’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology lab. Our research is focused on epigenetics and 3D chromatin organization, the molecular mechanisms that regulate malignant transformation and cellular proliferation in leukemia, as well as the development of novel treatments for pediatric malignancies. Our particular interest is in the role of epigenetics in regulating cellular multiplication and immortalization in leukemia. The projects are performed in collaboration with the lab of Dr. Feng Yue http://yuelab.org/publications.html Our research is supported by R01CA213912 (PI: Dovat), R01CA209829 (PI: Dovat) and Four Diamonds Endowment (Dovat) We are looking for an Assistant Professor (Non-tenure track) who will analyze the results of projects in Computational and Functional Genomics/Epigenomics, and Epigenetics (ChIP-seq, ChIP-on-chip, RNA-SEQ, ATAC-seq, GRO-seq, Hi-C, 3-C) in normal and malignant cells. Candidates must have significant research experience in the fields of bioinformatics, computational biology, systems biology, statistical genetics, and/or statistical genomics. The successful candidate must be motivated, independent and highly organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
