Description

Fill requisition invoices accurately and promptly. Obtain signature for invoices and return the signed copies to office. Monitor pull dates of products; report out of date products to the Creamery Manager. Assist in stock handling, packing, lifting and moving of products, supplies, and materials as needed. Rotate stock so that oldest foods and supplies will be used first. Assist in loading and unloading truck with wholesale orders for milk, cream, butter, cottage cheese, and other wholesale products. Assist in cleaning and washing truck as necessary. Assist with monthly inventory, as needed. Assist in various rooms in the Creamery, as needed, such as cleaning and packing milk crates. Operate and clean dishwashing machine. Mop, hose, and clean various rooms and areas in the Creamery. Operate various types of powered janitorial equipment such as floor maintenance machines, wet and dry pick-up vacuums, scrubbing and buffing machines, etc. Keep refrigerator and freezer areas in a neat and orderly condition. Assist with the daily cleaning of milk processing and packaging equipment. Job Requirements: Requires the use of commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments, graduates and the like requiring interpretation in their various applications; or the posting, preparation, interpretation, use and checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data.
