Description

The Department of Sociology and Criminology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Scholar position to begin August 1, 2020 with an opportunity of a contract renewal at the end of the first year. The Scholar would be expected to conduct independent and collaborative research in the sociology of religion, as well as develop resources for the Association of Religion Data Archives. Required qualifications include: doctoral degree to be completed no later than August 1, 2020 in sociology, strong writing skills, and extensive training in data management and quantitative analysis. In addition, successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community.
