Penn State Harrisburg, School of Public Affairs (SPA), invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position in Health Administration to begin August 2020. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Health Administration (HADM) and the Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration (HPA) programs. Applicants should have earned a doctorate in health administration or a related field. While the area of specialization is open, the successful candidate should be able to teach healthcare management, population health, health systems organization, healthcare insurance, and healthcare ethics. Residential as well as online teaching experience and interdisciplinary collaboration are expected. All candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and the ability and willingness to engage in service appropriate to their rank, including recruitment of students, and must qualify for membership in the Graduate Faculty of the Pennsylvania State University: http://www.gradschool.psu.edu/faculty/criteria. The SPA offers additional undergraduate programs in Political Science, Public Policy, and Criminal Justice, and additional master’s programs in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, as well as Ph.D. in Public Administration. It also is the home of Penn State’s Intercollege Master of Profession Studies in Homeland Security.
