Description

The high energy theoretical physics group at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking applications for one or more Postdoctoral Scholar appointments to investigate the mathematics and physics of scattering amplitudes in perturbative quantum field theory. The elementary particle theory group at Penn State consists of: Jacob Bourjaily, John Collins, Murat Gunaydin, Irina Mocioiu, Radu Roiban, Anna Stasto, and Mark Strikman. Successful applicants will have research interests and experience overlapping with multiple faculty. Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics. Applications must be submitted electronically and should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae (including publications), a statement of research interests, and three letters of reference submitted to physicsapply@psu.edu. Applications should be submitted prior to January 6, 2020 for full consideration, but late submissions may be considered. The appointment start date will begin any time between June and September 2020.
