Description

The Department of Sociology and Criminology of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions for the 2020 Spring session. Part-time Lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Sociology and/or Criminology. Previous experience in online instruction through Penn State’s World Campus preferred for some courses. A Master’s degree in a related field is required. Candidates with Ph.D. or J.D. degrees in the discipline may also be assigned to teach upper level undergraduate courses. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments. Spring Lecturers normally teach one to two courses. Review of applications will begin by November 15, 2019 and continue until all of the positions are filled.
