The focus of this position will be managing the transition of each core facilities’ individual business management process to the iLab core facility management software, ensuring the cores are following university standards and policies. This position includes the management of the ORIS helpdesk and team, as well as serving as tier 2 support for the iLab project for researchers, faculty, and core administrators. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates with business process analysis, research administration, training, communication, and specialized backgrounds are preferred. Although programming experience is not required for this position, the position is technically oriented and experience and comfort with electronic management systems is essential. Project Management Certification and familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is not required but preferred. Candidates must possess a strong customer service orientation and be able to build relationships with stakeholders, be adaptable to change, exercise independent judgment and discretion, meet deadlines and shift from working independently to working within a team easily.
