Description

The Department of Chemistry is seeking a detailed-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Undergraduate Program Office. This position directly reports to the Undergraduate Program Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support to the undergraduate program, faculty, and other staff members. Secure, copy, organize, package, and distribute examinations/quizzes for large enrollment courses; work with faculty coordinators and instructors in managing all logistical details for course examinations. This position will work with other administrative support assistants to update and schedule online proctor signups, receive and process room reservations for final exams, review sessions, exams, etc. Maintain student records, files and databases; prepare various reports; process correspondence and forms; and respond to departmental inquiries. This position will work closely with other offices such as Disability Services, Registrar’s Office, and assist with New Student Orientation. This position will serve as backup to other administrative support staff. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with LionPATH, CollegeNet, and iTwo is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision.
