Description

A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Professor Saptarshi Das at The Pennsylvania State University. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to work in the area of straintronics based on 2D materials. Our research focuses on exploiting strain induced bandgap engineering in 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) for novel non-volatile memory devices for neuromorphic computing. The candidate must possess a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, with a strong background in 2D materials processing. Previous experience with nanofabrication and electrical measurements of nanoscale devices is highly desired. The candidate must have an excellent track record of original research and the ability to work as part of a team.
