The College of the Liberal Arts Information Technology (IT) organization is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to join our AMT (Asset Management Team). Candidates need to be able to work in a team-based environment focused on achieving AMT productivity and customer satisfaction goals and expectations. Candidates need to have good interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities include: Build and deploy new or replacement Macintosh or Windows computers/devices. Ensure proper operation of operating systems, drivers, system updates, and requested software. Update/manage asset inventory and appropriate databases. Deploy completers; Schedule, deploy, set-up/configure computers and peripherals. Diagnose and solve any issues during initial computer start-up. Provide user training for basic hardware and software. Decommission computers; Retrieve and de-commission computer, and update management consoles and databases accordingly. Participate in process workflow and customer satisfaction improvements initiatives. Assist Liberal Arts IT Helpdesk team when needed acknowledging and managing incidents/requests. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional preferred knowledge beneficial: Knowledge/user of ServiceNow ITSM system; Knowledge of Jamf Pro and SCCM; Basic and/or advanced knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS X, MS Office 365, TCP/IP knowledge, and computer hardware architecture.
