Finance and Business Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage, support, and sustain servers and associated applications critical to business needs. This position will be ensuring proper use of, configuring, and managing operating systems, utilizing and monitoring security and integrity tools, performing business continuity tasks, and developing and updating documentation. This position will be part of a group supporting over 700+ servers and part of a team providing core IT Infrastructure to the Finance and Business community. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with VMware, Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Solar Winds and Nagios as well as a solid background in networking and cyber security is preferred. The majority of the servers are running Microsoft Windows but there are some Linux servers so familiarity with Linux is a plus. The successful candidate must be able to isolate, analyze and diagnose a wide array of IT related problems and provide resolution independently or collaboratively when appropriate. They must also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency with oral and written communication, plus the ability to interact with both specialized and non-specialized audiences. The candidate must be a professional, highly motivated and resourceful individual with a background in administration of Enterprise systems.
