Applications are invited for multiple tenure-track positions at the Assistant, Associate and/or Full Professor levels across all areas of Computer Science and Engineering. The department is looking to grow rapidly in different areas, with the possibility of cluster hires in each area. We are particularly looking to fill multiple positions in: Theoretical Computer Science: All areas will be considered, including quantum computing, cryptography, algorithms and complexity. Computer Systems and Architecture: Candidates working at all layers of the system stack will be considered. We offer a top 10 ranked systems research department (as per csrankings.org) and unique collaboration opportunities with faculty spanning both computer science and computer engineering in one unified department. Data Science: All areas of machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, and data science will be considered, including theory, NLP, computer vision, robotics, optimization, and fairness, and applications to scientific data. Computer Security: All areas of computer security will be considered, including software security, systems and hardware security, network security, and applied cryptography. We offer a top 10 ranked security research environment (as per csrankings.org) across these disciplines. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field that must be completed by the start date of the position. All applicants should be committed to excellence in both research and teaching and those considered for the Associate and Full level must demonstrate an established record in research. We expect our hires to establish a strong research program, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses.
