Responsibilities of this position include: manage and direct daily operations of the food service operation and catering; train, coach, supervise, discipline assigned employees; ensure standards are met as it relates to safety, sanitation and quality of products, facilities and services; make recommendations; oversee and schedule maintenance requests and care of equipment; complete special projects as assigned; ensure quality customer service, for both internal and external customers through effective communication, problem solving and training of assigned staff. Responsible for financial success through cost containment and business growth. May lead or participate in departmental and University wide initiatives and committees. Responsibilities also include providing general administrative functions, preparing documents and reports, compiling records, organizing and maintaining information. Assist with the production of publications and social medial. Provide general office support. Position will assist with new hire paperwork, data entry, bill paying and other administrative functions such as daily cash reconciliation, answering phones, filing, preparing spreadsheets. Typically requires a Bachelor`s degree or higher in a hospitality, business or a nutrition related discipline or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Position is part time with June and July off. 24-30 hours per week, day shift.
