The departments comprising the School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures within the College of the Liberal Arts at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) seek to hire part-time (fixed-term II), Lecturers for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters for the following departments: Comparative Literature; Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures; French and Francophone Studies; Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese; and Asian Studies. All positions require a Master’s degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program in a relevant field of study, and relevant experience. Applicants applying to positions in language departments must have native or near native fluency in both English and the specific language area. These are non-tenure track appointments. Responsibilities include teaching introductory, intermediate, or advanced undergraduate courses and may also include research responsibilities.
