Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is accepting applications for a highly organized and self-directed individual to be the Campus Registrar. The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of student records for the Fayette campus under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer. The Registrar supports the academic function of the campus in cooperation with the campus administration and the Office of the University Registrar. Responsibilities include: maintain official enrollment data, providing routine and specialized data reports; develop projections for enrollment, course sections, and anticipated faculty needs workloads; manage space requirements, classroom assignments, and prepare the campus schedule of courses and final exams; work with the Chief Academic Officer to coordinate the Commencement ceremony; resolve various problems related to enrollment; plan, implement and coordinate registration activities; supervise and evaluate assigned staff; ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws [e.g., Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)]; and, represent the campus on various campus and University-wide committees. This job will be filled as a level 2 or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Experience in developing and successfully implementing student retention processes is preferred. The successful candidate will have a history of commitment to customer service, evidence of experience collaborating with faculty and staff, and familiarity with contemporary software used to support Registrar functions. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
