The Access and Effects Department in the Cyber, Data, and Image Sciences Division of the Communications, Information, and Navigation Office within The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking a Part-Time Cyber Information Assurance Analyst. Responsibilities include: Participate in conducting risk assessments and provide recommendations for system and/or network application design, implementation, and operation; assist in the vulnerability assessments of systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations or policies; assist in the monitoring of correcting actions of system audits; assist in the obtaining, certification, and accreditation of systems through the creation of process documentation support; support the establishment of program control processes to ensure risk mitigation; participate in periodic audits of systems; assist in the implementation of required policies, procedures, and configurations; and may make recommendations for improvements. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Science and Technology or Security and Risk analysis is required as well as prior experience in Security and Risk Analysis. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
